Going on nature walks with Mr. Galen Sauder, Experiential Learning teacher at recess is a highlight for elementary students. Yesterday 2nd-grade girls and 1st graders got to go taste honeysuckle, see flowering black locust trees
and the meandering Mill Stream
, smell a skunk
, and use all their senses to see what else they might discover along the way! Students are passionate and curious about exploring God’s creation
, and we’re thrilled they have the time and space to do that here at LM as part of our holistic curriculum.
