After being approached by the Clark Associates Companies, Lancaster Mennonite School has executed a purchase agreement from the Clark Associates Companies for the Locust Grove Campus of Lancaster Mennonite School. The property is adjacent to Clark’s Restaurant Store, office and buildings on Old Philadelphia Pike, and will add 12.6 acres to their Lancaster campus.

Lancaster Mennonite School will continue to operate at the Locust Grove campus through July 1, 2022. This is all pending a change of zoning to the property, but parties are optimistic that they will be able to clear the necessary hurdles and settle before the end of this year.

Many details have yet to be worked out in regards to how we will utilize this property,” says Gene Clark, but they hope it will be a next step, “in continuing to build out a vibrant and exciting Lancaster campus.

The sale of the Locust Grove Campus of Lancaster Mennonite School to the Clark Associates Companies will be beneficial for LM to fund renovations on the unified PreK-12th grade Lancaster campus, pay down debt, and build endowment. It is also beneficial for the Clark Associates Companies to expand their business and support the local community,” said Kathy Beiler, LM Board Chair.
