Karina Yoder, 1st Grade Teacher

Karina Yoder📚✨ Welcome, Ms. Yoder!
We’re excited to welcome Ms. Karina Yoder as our new 1st Grade Teacher at Lancaster Mennonite!

A graduate of  Eastern Mennonite University, Ms. Yoder brings a passion for teaching from an Anabaptist/Christian perspective, a love for math, and meaningful experience from Eastern Mennonite School & Spotswood schools in Harrisonburg, VA and Jakarta, Indonesia. Her global experiences, including time spent in Israel/Palestine and volunteering with Servants to Asia’s Urban Poor, have shaped her compassionate, culturally aware approach to education.

Outside the classroom, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, playing games, and being outdoors. 🌍☀️🎲

We’re so grateful to have her joining our Christ-centered community—students are going to love learning and growing together with her this year!

Katrina Siegrist, 2nd Grade

Katrina Siegrist🌍 Say Hello to Mrs. Katrina Siegrist – 2nd Grade!
We’re delighted to welcome Mrs. Katrina Siegrist as our new 2nd Grade teacher at LM!

Katrina holds degrees from Eastern Mennonite University and Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary, and has spent many years teaching in Mennonite education—most recently at Roslyn Academy in Kenya, she has also taught in public schools and a charter school. She is also currently pursuing additional studies in English Language Development.

She shares,”I’m excited to work at LM to share my love of Jesus with children. I anticipate being a part of a community that encourages me to live my Anabaptist faith and values in a whole-hearted way. Additionally, I anticipate growing in excellence as an educator in a fantastic school!”

Her favorite Bible verse is Romans 8:28: We know that God is always at work for the good of everyone who loves him. They are the ones God has chosen for his purpose.

Lauren Zimmerman, Academic Support Teacher (K-8th grades)

lauren lanas🍎 We’re excited to welcome Mrs. Lauren (Lanas) Zimmerman ’15 back to Lancaster Mennonite as the Academic Support Teacher (K-8th grades)! Lauren previously served at LM as an Academic Support and Middle School English teacher (at Locust Grove) and taught special education at Solanco High School, and we’re so glad to have her return to the team.

She holds degrees from Millersville University and is currently pursuing further studies in School Counseling. Lauren brings a deep care for students and a passion for supporting their academic and personal growth.

Enjoys teaching because: “You can see the passion and excitement when students find their talents in the classroom. I love being able to connect with students through relevant and real-world situations that encourage global and Christ-centered learning.”

Annali Topf, MS & HS Bible Teacher

Annali Topf🌟 We are thrilled to welcome Annali Topf to Lancaster Mennonite School as our new Middle School and High School Bible Teacher! Annali brings a deep passion for Scripture and a rich background in ministry, education, and service across the U.S. and around the world.

Annali earned her Master of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary and a B.A. in Bible and Religion from Goshen College. Her journey has included serving as a hospital chaplain, interim pastor, and admissions counselor, as well as volunteering with MCC’s SALT program in Uganda, Hospice in Indiana, and Offender Victim Ministries in Kansas. She is an ordained minister in the Church of the Brethren and a board-certified chaplain.
